Over the past few months I've been doing little tutorials for ImagineFX Magazine's Artist Q&A section. It makes me feel pretty important!

Hi Ms. Staples! My name is Will, I manage Alakazam! Comics in Irvine. We just signed up for IDW's aggressive incentive program for your new project with Steve Niles: Mystery Society. I was wondering if you had any interest in doing the in store signing with Mr. Niles when the book is released. I still don't yet know when the signing will be since it is up to IDW and Mr. Niles. We'd love to meet you and have our customers get to speak with you and get their books signed. I personally have been recommending your most recent project, North 40, based on the strength of your art alone. I plan to do some research and find more comics that you have illustrated as soon as I finish this message. nah, it's not kindness. you were promising young artist when we met (can you believe it was almost three years ago?) and look at you now - still young and keeping your promises! : )
