Marvel just put out this one-shot, a collection of the various Wolverine Art Appreciation variant covers and bios/interviews/comments from the contributing artists.
Anyway, the important thing is what they came up with for my bio:
I didn't send them that quote, they found it on their own- which means it's my OFFICIAL REPUTATION now. Thank you Scott.
Nick and Vince share a birthday with His Highness and used his photo on the Facebook event thingy, so I made this themed cake for the party last night.
It's all edible except for the crown:
Don't say it looks like George Bush! This cake took freaking forever and you're not allowed.
This is a piece for a Wolverine-themed art auction to raise funds for the Joe Shuster Awards. They should be putting the prints on eBay sometime this month.
I wanted to draw Wolverine doing something mundane and Canadian, and I wanted to draw a leather jacket. Also, pay attention everyone- I've found a new way to avoid drawing feet!
I did some small oil paintings for a comic-themed art show that Happy Harbor is hosting, "Visions of Comics." The show is a tribute to the medium and to past creators, and tons of local artists contributed pieces.
This is a quick painting I did for a cover mockup for Driftwood's War, a children's novel by my friend James Davidge. We needed something to use in a catalogue, but this image isn't finished... composition sucks and I'll probably redo the background completely.
